truth is beautiful....in a way that it can sense real feelings of real people.......
aren't we blissfully living in oblivion.....pushing aside the realities in life.......
or is it ...that escapism comes easily.....

ambience of a restaurant rated on a page.......the other side of which speaks about hunger deaths!!is extremes life!!or is jus a simple case of neglect!!

books i l always love!!

There are so many different genres of books that each one of us get to read...i really have got my fair share of reading different kinds of books...though not the serious literature stuff..but want to read them too......

School days ,got to read books ....starting from tinkle...tin tin,archies comics..... : D!!!they were fun...we used to fight like maniacs in school to read them!!

then got to read a lot of different stuff....

one book that has been an unforgettable experience is "The Roots"...it tells the story of a black man's family through ,i guess 7 generations.......its a must read!!
Also , i cannot forget "The Other Side Of Midnight"!!
its been quite a while since i ve read any good book....got to catch up.....wanna read lots of good books!!rather books that can be enjoyed!!

Am i in the Same planet!!

karthi's having difficulties in understanding certain things!!
man!!! trignomentry in school was much more decipherable!!!anyways sailing along........that seems to be an easy option!!
And when will i get what i am looking for.....this "waiting 's" really boring!

Partial Differentiation!!

its not maths n numbers am thinkin about!!
A lots been debated on television about "racism"....but its been happening in a slightly different style in our very own surroundings since god knows when!!
Racism may be the mother of all the differentiation....but its siblings.....the " partial differentitaion "that happens here is not any lesser in traumatising people !!

U study in a school,the teacher picks up only the fair skinned for a dance when u are just 5/6 yrs old.......does it not leave an impact in the child's brain!!abt how inferior it is to be brown skinned...!!??
Here again , the invites for annual day is distributed but the "rich" ones are given a card thats as thick as a notebook!!whereas the not so rich are given invites that resemble paper towels!!

so whats the purpose for these acts!!??when school is a place where one is moulded and taught to be a nice human being!


Again, the bride/bride groom hunting....man !!! one shoul read those matrimonial columns ,its like u want a commodity...which is of a certain color,certain size,certain sect of the society!!
We all have become global citizens....our thinking has opened up...really??we still practise this differetiation in various forms ...what does this say about our stone age thinking style!at least then people did not go to big institutes and get big degrees!!and boast of being the evolved human beings!

No point blaming the society.....its in the "hands" of individuals rather, " hearts"! .

We share the same planet ,its our ultimate home beyond our virtual boundaries.....we all are one!! n each one of us have to realise it...to make this a better place to live!!

Pongal

It was so much fun celebrating pongal when we were kids....sweet memories...
the first day "boghi" would be so exciting because all of get up sharp at some 4.00am in the morning and start burning stuff, ....throwing things in to that big fire was a great thing to do ,me n my brother used to split up the stuff to be thrown in to fire equally but ultimately end up stealing from the other's quota!!

the next day,pongal....get up early in the morning get ready and wear pudhu sattai!!and walk around to just show off the new dress!!
Eat chakkara pongal,vadai made by mom and off to paatti's house to play with cousins ,Semma collection, when the elders in the family bless us and give us money,we d run home to save it in the piggy bank!!that too, to see who gets more money ultimately....

the next two days go by with all that hectic playing ,going out with parents......beach....good food etc etc....Atthai or chitappa used to take all of us ,the kutties to the TradeFair ,Temple etc ,used to be so much fun!!

All these days the kolam we put is very special.....me n my brother used to fight as to who will color which portion of the kolam....n ultimately we l end up fighting with atthai who should give us permission to color her beautiful kolam!!.
During every festival the pooja session is more entertaining because we l fight for things like who will handle the bell during the aarthi and who gets to do aarthi first!!!

the night before pongal amma puts beautiful arisimavu kolam in the hall with kaavi borders...the next morning the house looks bright an beautiful!!Also waiting impatiently for dad to break karumbu in to small pieces was fun!!
Every year we used to visit dad's relatives who were in to farming ,in the outskirts of Chennai,where we get to see the real pongal festivities.......
Good old days!!Festivals are always a nice way to enjoi!!

gives the soul a happiness out of purpose...
Life's all about taking the big leap to reach the destination of our desire....the herd lives on , but one must make a difference.....daring to be different makes one not just exist!!

the ray of light!!

yesterday morning during the trip to college i got to see the clouds , there was a thin streak of light.....it then extended to jus let the sun rise n shine....the rays of light piercing into the foggy blanket....it was a beautiful sight...the rays were showering its warmth screaming aloud the arrival of yet another new day....

There seems to be darkness n lonelieness sometimes...may be its a moment that leads to certain self revelations....it tells us how much can we fight against like a brave warrior.....
the end of it comes light...happiness....victory.....
And the courage to go on!!!

These rays of light do enlighten the world for both rich n the poor....beyond man-made boundaries that divides just hearts!!..these rays make the world shine...nature has a lesson in its all forms....its for us to see ...beyond the materialism "n" the mad rush for something unknown!!!

How nice would it be if we can design coolers...that can help us see through the most toughest situation.....it should only show us the positives!!cool na!!

i kno i kno .......its expensive we don't get it for money!!
all it costs is some " past experience" n may be some "open mindedness"theory learnt byheart!

A new turn...

a new turn in life.....responsibilities are jus comin one after another.....i still wanna be that fun loving me!i jus wanna attach a pair of wings...and fly high....
but it does not work that way na!!
