ADD!

ADD i understand is  medical   condition.....simply going by the literal sense...it can be translated as one 's lack of attention!!!.In the days of " Web Living"  where people spend good(rather most of the time
)amount of time trying to connect over cyberspace/chats/Im ing /tweeting/social networking and the likes communication happens through abbreviations.
World has shrunk so has words...and so has attention spans.
With so much happening so quick one really wonders if the kinds who can read a 500 page novel still exist!.
May be in future they would design an application which would start of a siren if u speak more/take more time to  communicate!

So much of garbage in media u switch channels like 50 channels/sec one really feels the pinch when u watch a movie at one streatch in a theatre and  when there s a slow song u really want to change the channel/pause or do something about it.

Reading a news paper cover to cover was a  daily affair...but now u skip lines and  jump and probably are restless to get to the jist of it!!Even when you speak the attention span u can have of the other person is like nano seconds because there is always your high tech mobile which cries out louder than a child for attention(ah those annoying ringtones & caller tunes!)or there is an instant message about your friend's status update on facebook!and one is easily tempted to multi task than to talk to the person sitting right across the table!.The only exception to this could be the New Age lovers immersed in their endless mobile converstaion over a looooooooooong period of time :P !
Its becoming real that one has to be like an AD film maker to sell yourself/communicate in the shortest span of time.Gone are those days when even a power cut in the city was a moment for the family to bond and talk through. Now noone really has the patience!!!!
I feel this personally i am not able to read long articles, decently sized books !!!
I feel that only a concious effort to switch off from the Fast Forwrd mode and switch over to Normal Mode can kill this diminishing attention span syndrome.
