Drop Dead Tired

Ok....whats the big deal....i wanted to do this ,i am doing this ,no one forced me...but still .................limits!!!!!!

I enter my house at some 9.00 pm at night .......starving for food like i am from some faraway.....lost land.....as soon as u come back all the time you have is to eat and sleep!!!
i have a family....but living in the same house i am totally cut off from them....have no time for friends .....not even time to catch up with whats happening around in the same damn world you live in........!!!
Your major MAJOR part of time goes away just getting to and from THE PLACE!!!!ok......all this in short is.................( applause......!!!!) my COLLEGE life....

okay the college is there............................................ but where is the "LIFE"?????????????????.

My College Campus..

Today .....bunked one class!! just out of...... mmmm...... boredom!!!!!!It was pouring cats n dogs!!!!my campus looks amazing in the rains.....the little creeks of water running swiftly.......the dazzling leaves ....a beautiful kingfisher...tooo good !!!!

Only today i could enjoy the beauty of the campus.......!Its one important thing that attracts me to my college!!!It is so full of sights and sounds that gives us a welcome break from the screeching horns(thanks to the ever faster motorist.....who thinks of himself as some kinda bike racer!!),polluted surroundings.....glaring lights...and most important of them alll.................................our CLASSROOM(obviously!!!where u r always staring at u r prof!!).Taking notes frantically........giving quizzical looks when we are expected to answer ......hiding your friend's footwear....and lots of other things have become a routine.......

But for the calm and serene campus ,life would become too difficult !!!!!

Today went to the beach with friends......had a gala time!!!!!!!!!!On the way back saw some cute kids playing around..........kids are gods......

True ,their tiny fingers ....the warm touch .....their innocent looks.....you can simply forget yourself...i am doing my post grad...but funny part is i had a friend who was jus 3 months old...my neighbour ...............now he goes to school and is too busy with life!!!

The friendship we shared was amazing.....even before he could start speaking we became good friends....he used to wake me up every morning with a gentle kiss....and he was always more successul in waking me up....rather than my alarm!!!!whenever i wear a new dress ....there would be a sign of recoganition in his eyes!!!!he was so damn smart....more than his mom teaching him to speak ,it was me and my family who succeeded in teaching him words!!
And it used to be us listening to him...those were days when we had unlimited fun at home!!!

More than us...he knew our house like the back of his hand.....he used to be all over the place....the times when he started walking were even more funnier ....all of us had to be behind him trying to save the house....

It used to be like some sort of a mind game....if he is out of sight for some two minutes we have to start searching immediately.....or else the house would be a mess....
and the way he used to blink after doing something wrong....that is realllllyyy funny!!!!

Those were truly amazing days....when you have a friend who is not even half the size of your hand......but still the love and affection you get is unmeasurable!!!!!!Enjoyed it!!!!!

Rahul Dravid Day!!!!!


Today was Rahul Dravid day in my class...........really!!!!.We had a class on leadership and our professor held an interactive session and yes he chose to speak about "THE WALL".

It was really amazing,i knew quite a bit about him from the media...i' ve read a lot about him but the way we related the qualities exhibited by him to leadership qualities that we had discussed in class the end result was astounding!!!!!!!The session went on very well,all of us contributed our views on his qualities and the outcome was a discussion over a span of an say 45 mins........thats quite great....!!

It was an eye-opener that our sports hero,who is calm ,composed and as cool as a cucumber was a topic of a real good discussion from a different perspective...then i wonder how good he must be at what he is doing!!!!!!!

The session really was enjoyed by each one of us.......it was something similar to looking at the same person on news and tv everyday but discovering all of a sudden how good they have to be to attain a place like that in the society..!!He is an inspiration to thousands of young aspiring cricketers,he carries himself so well ......,he is undoubtedly a great player,a great personality....what not!!

I should say it was my professor's intelligent approach that made us enjoy the class,participate and discover a new perspective of learning and i really enjoyed it!!!!!

GURUS ......they can be a real inspiration.

Some two days back we were told that," there is going to be a seminar".I thought either its gonna be too technical coz the people who come are too intellectual!!or it can be dragging .
But the man who came took us all by a big surprise,he' s got a strong background but not once was he talking in technical terms but he was VERY successful in putting forward his thoughts very strongly and he was CAPTIVATING!!!!.

I never missed a word he spoke!!
What if all our lecturers become him,i guess then there will be no need for any preparation for exams!!!!!!
he was tooo good!!
The HIGHLIGHT was he never used a mic!!.He really inspired me a lot..
Now thats the way a teacher should be !!!

I have had some nice people teaching me in my school,i can always remember them with lots of gratitude and things they said that have actually brought in positive changes in my life.

My French teacher ,i should say is a real genius!!she teaches a foreign language but her approach is too coool!!!!we are more expressive and participative because of her motivation!!! .She is great.

If only all of us get to enjoy the brilliance ,love and company of these people we can become half as good as them....
