60 years of Independence....


we fought a great war , the thirst for freedom bound so many people together, they gave their lives.Our real heroes!!!we salute them and celebrate the spirit of this wonderful nation.
we ve come a long way.

we still have to go a long long way...and who is going to do the honours!?

The youngsters , of course.

I feel we all have been blessed with some talent or the other,the key lies in not just "jumping in to the well like the other person".
An entity as big as a nation does not grow by jus a few people making an effort,the individuals of the entity should be strong contributors.....today there are so many people who are doing great things at an early age be it any field....
Is it a compulsion that all of us who graduate have to slog for some air conditioned sweat shop !??have,at least most of us signed a bond or something???
Every year, thousands clear XII std, most of them end up in one of the many engineering colleges,now they have a feeling an MBA is also a must!!!!!!
What are we trying to prove!!!!the worst part of this phenomenon is,most of the people who want to do different things in life end up doing the same thing ....which is really really insane.
These couple of degrees are pursued because they seem to be the "IN thing"!!! and the Society believes that this is a sure shot success path!!.

The sad truth though is people who are forced in to these things are bound to lose themselves....and their identity!!!

Cant we all do different things.....and excel so that as a nation collectively we could become a big success story....We could make it to the next level!!

India,to outside world was The Taj,Snake charmers,Beggers........a long time ago.......
now we are a country which literally breeds Qualified people who can become top professionals in companies across the globe......

so who is complaining??!!! whats the problem?????

Why cant all those brains be used here .....so that we come out with wonders in every field possible.....young entrepreneur's should be supported.....
So what if your son or daughter wants "Not to Become a doctor/engineer/an Mba" or all those clichéd professions!!
Let them be free spirits...be a tattoo artist , a musician, a sports person(again all the sports!!!;),
a potter, a craftsman ,great inventors, scientists..........
Even now there are some who do all this in spite of all the PRESSURE and labeling by the society as an outcast!!we need lots more people who can be path breakers,great achievers....so that we have a nation of young individuals who can make a mark in any damn field.......

Growth is not jus the "figures" , increasing shopping malls,foreign brands, consumerism......growth means every individual is also growing as the nation grows,not a lopsided one...........

So many great thinkers and young minds have already started the quest to define a whole new meaning of success..........
So expand your boundaries...break them .....become great human beings,contribute to the society....
we have it in us to become GREAT INDIVIDUALS.......we can do more things than just following or rather aping other cultures,we have all the resources with us...lets be socially conscious and do every bit we can.......



WE CAN REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE........

kids!? or adults!!

The best part of anyone's life would be definitely their childhood.But its really disheartening to see them lose their childhood due to unnecessary pressure to perform by none other than their own parents!.

I get to see lots of kids in my neighborhood, i really feel sorry for them.They do not get to spend any quality "KIDS TIME" at all....

All that they do endlessly is to watch some stupid TV channel coz the mother's feel thats an easy way to tie them to one place!!so when do they get to play!!????really when?
At school,the kid is again treated like some tamed animal,"mug" so much,"vomit" so much,never ever think on your own...So what if the parent wanted to learn dance!!??and couldn't do it , why should the child suffer and end up doing what he/she does not enjoy!?
Again television shows add fuel to the fire , promoting cut- throat competition!a child as small as 5/6 yrs old has to go through a roller coaster of emotions for a dumb competition!Why is it all about winning all the time!
Appreciate creativity,don't be overprotective , let them learn , explore , enjoy this world.
And for heavens sake do not send them to tuitions.
Let them get an opportunity to choose things for themselves.Do not make them zombies who have to come first in everything they do!!And teach them to respect their MOTHER TOUNGE!!
My sweet neighbor tries hard to talk to her children only in english though they study in good schools , and if they by any chance talk in tamil they get a cold stare!!
What are these crazy people trying to prove!

Only once in our lives do we get to be a child ,let them live happily for once!!why do you burden them with all your unfulfilled wants!they are individuals , let them grow up to be a strong one!
instill values , respect for the country, native culture , the environment!
And do not push them to succeed all the time!!

Kids in class X and XII are the worst victims of this stupid society,lesser marks makes one an outcast!!so what if you cannot mug stuff and decorate answer paper!!our system does not value "thinking capacity" anyways!!

SO DUMP the dumb things and let them get a life!!!one filled just with happiness and free thinking with parents as friends and not like a watch dog!!!
