we (atleast most of us)identify with film music.....
they simply work on your mood!
there's a song for every emotion....well written verses which carry you away .....to just another world.....
it looks like we suddenly are relieved of the stress that capitalises on our vulnerability and emotional quotient....we are as free as a bird....flocking and swaying according to the rythms....
music is jus a super stress reliever...
no wonder all these F.M channels are cashing in!!but sometimes it becomes too much to take....
the last thing one wants to listen to is a really sad number ...when you are already in a pathetic mood!he! he! happens a lot of times because the knob is turned on by someone else....like during we travel!
but end of the day it is byfar a language that every soul can understand !!

i had a classmate who was not interested in music and sports among a lot other things. as far as i know, his only interest was electronics. he spent his time in learning and tweaking circuits. then came the movie 'kadalukku mariyaadai'. one of the songs in that movie some how appealed to him. he recorded the same song repeadly in a 60 minutes audio cassette and listned for days together :P
